Today was about something else

Today wasn’t about political speeches.

Today wasn’t about Marine Le Pen and the Front National.

Today wasn’t about François Hollande.

Today wasn’t about politics at all.

Today wasn’t about world leaders’ hypocrisy — which needs to be addressed and hopefully it will be.

Not today though.

Because today was about something else.

Today was about being united in our differences.

Today was about Jews and Muslims together.

Today was about Amitié and Freundschaft.

Today was about Luz and Patrick.

Today was about Charb.

Today was about 4 million people filling the streets of Paris and other French cities.

Today was about saying louder and clearer than ever: Je suis Charlie.
